Recruitment process at Halvorsen Offshore
We do our utmost to ensure that the recruitment process is a positive experience for all applicants. Below are a number of the stages you can expect to meet when applying for a position at Halvorsen:
Once you have submitted your application, you will shortly afterwards receive confirmation of receipt. Applications should be sent by email but can also be sent to our postal address.
Provided that we are not working on continuous recruitment, we will process your application as soon as the deadline for applications has expired. You will be notified as soon as possible if we want to invite you for a meeting.
It is important that both parties have the opportunity to get to know each other. There are lots of things we want to know about you, and we want to provide you with as much information as possible about the position offered, our company and a typical working day with Halvorsen. It is therefore important to provide a thorough introduction so that we can find out what we have in common.
The meeting will also help both parties to express and identify their expectations of each other. We will focus on your qualifications, what you expect to achieve in the position offered, your future colleagues and Halvorsen's culture and values. The last thing we want is to recruit people to positions which do not live up to their expectations.
Starting work for Halvorsen
It's important for us that you are made to feel welcome from your very first working day. We have therefore implemented a mentor scheme throughout the organisation. The purpose of the mentor scheme is to provide a feeling of security, practical guidelines and to provide a link between employees and their colleagues with their immediate superior.
